My entry for the Godot Wild Jam #92

Help our little mushroom friend make wine using on the finest ingredients... cards! Select the fruit you want in your batch, getting bonuses for having a whole bunch of a particular fruit. Then get STOMPING! (Just be careful not to trip)

How To Play:

The game takes place over 5 days, each split into  2 phases. The Card Phase (played with the mouse) and the Stomp Phase (played with keyboard). See how many points you can earn by the end of the 5th day!

Card Phase:

  • Play a card from one of the three decks
  • Each fruit card played is worth one point
  • Fruit cards cost energy to cast, shown by the number in the top left corner. This has no effect on score, each Fruit card is still worth one point no matte the cost
  • Fruit cards appear as one of 4 coloured fruit. At the end of the phase you will gain 2 bonus points for each type of fruit with 3 or more cards played
  • Fruit Cards also have a direction, seen in the bottom symbol. This shows what direction you will press to stomp this card in the Stomping Phase.
  • Challenge cards can also appear in the deck, giving you energy at the cost of making the Stomp Phase harder

Stomp Phase:

  • Take note of the list of directions you must stomp in, then press space to begin stomping. You will not be able to see the list once you start
  • You will then have 10 seconds (or less depending on your challenges) to press all of the keys in the correct order
  • Use the arrow keys (or WASD) to stomp in the chosen direction
  • If you press the wrong direction even once, or run out of time, you will earn NO POINTS for the day
  • If you successfully stomp all of the directions, you get to keep all of the points scored by cards played this day

I really like the idea of controlling the difficulty thru cards, alot of risk vs reward. Great job!

Thank you! That was the main thing I wanted to try and emphasise so I'm glad it came through.
